Who we are
Random Forest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Bay Area. We run camps and workshops at libraries and schools, where students learn how AI models work, write code, and build their own applications. Every program is free.
Why Random Forest
Students build an application and publish it online to share with family and friends.
Learn how models use training data to make predictions, and how to check their results.
We introduce coding during the program, so students can join without having written code before.
Formats
A weeklong camp or weekly sessions. Both cover the same curriculum, end with a student project, and are always free.
Monday–Friday, full days
Students work on their project each day and present it at the end of the week.
Once a week, 2 hours
Students meet once a week, with time to practice and work on their projects between sessions.
What to expect
Day 1 / Week 1
Learn what AI models do and how they learn from data.
Days 2–3 / Weeks 2–3
Train a model, build an interface, and test how they work together.
Day 4 / Week 4
Design and build your own AI-powered application.
Day 5 / Week 5
Publish the app and present it to classmates and family.

A daily wellness companion
Check in with your mood, choose a daily challenge, and look back at your activity on a calendar. Serenity also generates nature sounds and music directly in the browser.
